	2008.05.30 16.30 i like bikes, beef, plants, old cameras click pics for tagged blog entries



	2008.05.13 10.30 mad cow my hands are shaking, my stomach is all in knots. you never really think that you'll have to quickly get dressed a few minutes after waking up, and square off with an enemy in the street in front of your house, but there i was, yelling and jumping at them while they lunged at me trying to head butt and attack me. i'm starting to calm down now. i called the authorities, they dispatched an officer. my eyes were itching, and i was thinking that i should have taken allergy pills before i left the house. wishing i had my digital camera in hand, instead of the broken one in my pocket. i received a phone call a minute prior, saying my camera had been fixed and was at the shop, and as i hung up, i heard crashing through the bushes outside the bathroom. there were two beige cows, they wandered through the yard and into the street. i called my mom to get the number for animal regulations, since she works with them all the time, and i called them while i stood between one of the cows and the street. the other cow had wandered into a neighbors semi-fenced field. the single cow started to walk towards the other one, but parallel to the street, so i walked briskly alongside and then ahead of it to get it through the fence, and it startled and ran a few steps and stopped. i stopped too, and then it [still not sure of the gender here] looked at me with rage. and then it came at me, and my very first instinct was "awww, it thinks i have food, and it sniffed me, backed off, then came at me bucking its head, and i realized, "oh, it doesn't want feed pellets, it wants me to back off," but we were in the street, so i yelled "HYAAHH!" and stomped as best i could in my flip flops towards it, and it sorta back up, and a dude in a beat up red car drove by in the other lane while on his cell phone and gave me a smiling nod like "yeah man, awesome" and then the neighbors from down the street pulled up, they had been in their suv for a while, with the bass rumbling, they're the only ones for miles that make noise, but they got out, and i asked "do you know whose these are?" and they said "they're our cows" and then i said, "ok, i called animal reg, but i'll call them off, see ya" and i retreated to my cold, cow free couch.

	2008.05.08 21.18 xa2 parade ( olympus xa2+expired film )



	2008.05.07 20.27 jumpy flashy pictures i think i'll avoid expired slide film, even if it's 75 cents a roll. this stuff was about 10 years old. turned real grainy, faded, and blue. some of the pictures i cared to try to fix the colors, most of them, i didn't. ( 30+ animated gifs, may take a minute to load )



	2008.05.03 18.04 and if they didn't make me sneeze, i'd get a cat and name her eloise. found on the ground at the sonoma county dumps. made me grin, so i put them in my pocket.



	2008.04.28 19.30 parade i was staring at the band members and then i realized that there were tiny people in the double exposure, sitting way up high and then i noticed the girl in the middle of the picture. in that shot, there was a block of space between this one girl with a "proud sponsor" sign for some bank, and i walked out into the middle of the street cuz it looked so silly, and i took her picture and she laughed cuz, well, she's in a parade by herself with about 2000 yards of clearance on all sides. like some sort of agoraphobic nightmare. 	2008.04.26 11.29 san francisco and such i'm not sure whether this picture would have looked neater if had panned with the squirrel as it ran, rather than try to keep the camera steady in the low light, but i think it looks kinda neat this way. it was the most popular picture on my flickr yesterday. 	2008.04.11 22.42 last week, at the dumps with sarah, we found some books, a silly binder of old recipes, a can of red spray glitter, an old egg beater, and an 8mm movie camera. i also found this photo on the ground. ( bigger )



	2008.04.04 15.08 some thrifting and ranting. a real infrared filter costs about $40, i've been using this dark blue filter that sorta cuts out visible light and allows infrared through. i should play around with all of the other colored filters i've got. maybe if i use a greenish filter and correct it out with the white balance, i could get some neat coloring effects. or i could post process the colors in, but that's no fun now is it? 	2008.03.26 12.27 yashica photos from the yashica medium format camera and agfa portrait film that i scored from the dumps a while ago. photos taken at the wednesday night market in santa rosa. the negatives were scanned and uploaded, no shooping. no focusing either, camera don't play that. 	2008.03.22 10.06 day out... this lj strike thing is bullshit. i hope some of you can read for yourself and figure out what the whole thing relates to. since i don't have many fanfic fanatics on my friends list, i didn't see much support for the strike. what it seems it comes down to is it affects the trolls and drama whores that love to create "sock" journals. empty journals so they can comment and not care when they get banned. or the ones who decide to post a dozen times then make a new lj and get a new layout and so on. the explanations for the strike were so retarded. like omg. "we're striking because lj needs to know that they're user supported and they need us and if we leave a mark in their stats then they'll invite us to their sleepovers" or something. people made it sound like you can't create an lj any more. ( 'merica )



	2008.03.20 13.19 help! ~~mysterious claws/beaks/talons/chiles~~ voodooskeleton and l3antha came up with toucan skull got them at a thrift place yesterday. they're stamped "CAS SF" on the back. made out of copper, hollow, brazed together with brass [?] and filed smooth along the seam. they are not cast from the same mold. tried google, can't get very far, don't have much of a clue as to what to call them in the first place. click photo and "all sizes" for a huge version of the photo ( more )



	2008.03.20 09.28 new phone, need your numbers the other day, while painting, i wore pants that were too tight for such activities, and i put my cell phone, a very thin non-folding mobile, in my back pocket. i bent over and my butt of steel snapped the lcd screen. i can't find my old phone with numbers, so i need your numbers. photos from the other day comments screened so you can't tell how unpopular i am, and so you can't drunk call zappagurl
