we went out to the harvest fair. all photos shot with my 40 year old manual (no auto focus, no light meter) lens.

we were walking down valencia and i saw this bike and took its picture because it's a scraper bike, right?


then, after eating, i spotted the bike with its rider intact.


as we walked by him in the intersection i snapped this photo.

i swear i took this picture from the hip. i had my manual lens, and i held the camera in my hand down at my side, just walking by. he had no idea i was taking his picture. i bumped milisa out of the way while i shot this.
i cropped it to make it level.


his name is lord relentless ha, and there aren't too many pics of him on the internet.

yeah, i'm through with bicycles, no more fixies, no more greasy chains to deal with.
this is my new ride:

if it's not the bums outside making noise and peeing on the tree outside my window, then it's the squirrels making out.

was getting crafty with the sewing machine and a tire.
the needle broke and the tip shot into my eyeball. luckily, it remained threaded and stopped before venturing through my cornea and into the back of my skull

I found this thing, this test, the Thematic Apperception Test, and I scanned the plates and thought it'd interesting for me to write down what I saw. Maybe at another point in time I can revisit the answers and see if my perspective has changed.

I invite you, my humble readers, to do it as well.
